Noah to be found
...written on 02.18.04, @ 12:46 p.m.

Well, it's official, I've been away longer than Noah!

Rage, rage against the dying of the journal entries!

I have no excuses. Any excuse would only engender the reaction below, so I shall refrain from making any.

I would like to apologize, though.

I'm sorry, People. I'm very sorry.

Ok, the lowdown is, I'm back in Japan. Got back a month and a half ago. Just got off a week long vacation. Min and I went to Nagano, Nara and Osaka. I also accomplished many domestic delights on my break. My apartment is squeaky clean . . . for now. I missed out on the special end of the year cleaning in Japan, so I resorted to the Spring Cleaning ritual from my country. A little early, but frankly the weather lately has been rather springish. It looks rather nice out right this very minute and perhaps I should go get some of that vitamin D, but I shall persevere in my catch up duties.

I have posted a bunch of new pictures on my People page --Check 'em out! Especially that dimply doll, Erin, who was the first friend I saw back in the States. We met at the American South's institution known as "Waffle House". There's about two on every corner in the state of Georgia. And you have to wonder why as it took our waitress THREE tries to get Erin's toast order right.

I got pictures of my dad in his motorcycle getup, my grandma in full gale of laughter, my mom and I in front of Aunt Dean's and Uncle Jake's Christmas tree, my uncle Don in front of a totem in his cabin posing with the Japanese paintbrush Min sent for him, and other pix.

It's also been a healthy six months. Damian asked me if I have been doing anything differently to not get sick and I said "I think it's love and laughter. I get a good dose of both everyday."
