Behind the Red Curtain
...written on 08.30.02, @ 7:51 p.m.

Here is a picture of a cool decorating idea from an Italian restaurant here in Ogaki. That fabric was against the wall with lights behind it. I loved it.

I needed a boost today, I wanted to get something special for myself while out shopping and I came across something to help me realize the above decorating project: Christmas lights! They are up and running right now and I even have the curtains open so those outside can share in my joy.

I am back in Ogaki after a great 11 days in Hiroshima. I made a lot of new friends, learned a lot and had some great food (most of it Italian, so that makes my decorating project even more of a tribute, doesn't it?).

Having a digital camera is wonderful. I take it everywhere and have snapped oodles of pictures, which I think is the problem: the management of said oodles of pictures. Anyhoo, I have a little errand to run and I shall be back to upload some pics from Hiroshima with some commentary. Hold tight. I've missed you.
