Yeeehaaaa! Got my little Toshiba 'puter back where he belongs! Vrrrrrrroooomm, vrrrooooommm, says Kim. It feels great to be back on the writing road again. Here goes . . .

The other day I felt a little nauseous and dizzy. On days like those, I have to move real slow, so it looks like I've got a stiff neck. As I've gotten older, these dizzy episodes have become more frequent to the point that I now realize that they herald the onslaught of my period.

I was feeling rather tender in the abdomen area as I made my way slowly to the bathroom and entered the stall on the right. It's one that I have never used since we moved our office to this new building in March. I usually just go into the one that is straight ahead in my line of vision, the one that houses a Japanese squat toilet.

That day however, with my hormones surging, I felt the desire to use a western style (sit down) toilet. As my arse made contact with the plastic rim, I jumped a little when I realized that the toilet seat was heated. I know this is a little odd to talk about, but it was such a comforting feeling that my uterus relaxed!

I have spoken about these Japanese versions of the western style toilet before. It is rare that a western style toilet in Japan is not heated. Believe me, if you understood how Japanese houses/buildings aren't insulated, you would understand the need for a heated toilet seat. Anyway, it was a pleasant sitting experience, and I have resolved to use that stall more often.
